This is an easy and quick to make dessert, perfect for the fall season. You can make this in the oven or an electric donut maker. The recipe below was made with an electric donut maker in mind, but it's still just as easy in the oven!
Cooking Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients
- Add all wet ingredients and stir only enough to combine or your donuts will be tough
- Add batter to electric donut maker
- Close and add 1 tablespoon of oil to each circle
- If baking in the oven, add batter to donut pans about ¾ of the way up. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
- Bake for 5 minutes
- Cool on a rack
- Cut in half and sandwich with a scoop of vegan ice cream
- Brush with a small amount of melted vegan butter and roll in cinnamon sugar if desired
- Enjoy while warm!
